Can you believe it?? Another fabulous wedding for an All Inclusive Event at Laguna Village! So much of a great photograph is the fashion behind it! I love that these two have matching converse and were willing to do anything we asked them, from climbing the dress to sitting in the bug invested grass. The wedding will take place this November! Wow, with the Pan Pacific Games, Saks Special events, families and weddings, this has been a crazy month. This fabulous couple was a very last minute shoot, but we had a great time! I am such a sucker for anything with a vintage feel, and Noel and Charlene’s engagement shoot definitely had that vibe! Noel is the uncle of my son’s best friend and it is so funny how they have a really similar personality. In the beginning of our shoot, everything was kind of sweet and romantic, but by the time we got down to the beach, we were all cracking up! These two make such a beautiful couple and I am really thrilled with their portraits! Enjoy!
Okay……… these two were in Laguna Beach scouting a location for their destination wedding (they live in New Jersey). I don’t think I have every laughed so much on a shoot. They are definitely my kind of people. I HAVE to share the craziness of our shoot. We started in Laguna Canyon and then headed to Victoria Beach. I was raving about how great this location is and the fantastic castle around the corner, when I got more than an eye full. Let’s just say, someone confused this beach with a nude beach and he was PROUD of his birthday suit! I couldn’t stop laughing as I jumped around the corner. So…. we thought, okay will give him a moment and he will put his clothes back on……BUT, he was in the same state about 10 minutes later and we were forced to walk by without cracking up! Jenn, Anna and I had to look at the ground cause we were so embarrassed. He finally wrapped a towel around himself, but we got lots of great images of Mike and Jenn laughing as a result! As you can see, these two make a great couple and I can’t wait for their wedding day! Enjoy!
I was a little worried about this shoot. The weather has been so BLAHHHHHHH and these two made the trek down from Valencia to meet me and (lucky for me) they trusted me enough to book their engagement shoot on the same day. Believe it or not at 3:00 PM on Sunday, the sun peaked through the clouds for the first time in two weeks in Laguna and we were able to get tons of great shots. I always think it is fun when the couple in nervous about the pictures when they first arrive and then within 10-15 minutes they are laughing and enjoying each other. This was so true for Kristen and Kirk. I felt like they were old friends, and Kristen even dealt with bugs (don’t tell her, but Anna and I did see many spiders during the shoot) and Kirk fought off bees. They are getting married next year at one of my favorite venues, An All Inclusive Event at Laguna Village and I know that they weather good fortune will follow them to their wedding day!
